The Meltdown Retreat (11th-13th May 2012) - With MIKE REYNOLDS (For Today)

Meltdown is a weekend residential retreat for people who enjoy their music hard, heavy or alternative in style. The retreat provides a weekend away from home with like-minded people of all ages from the Christian hard music scene. The retreat starts at 8.00pm on Friday evening with the first of two evenings of live music. The retreat closes at 4.00pm on Sunday. With a great line up of bands, challenging Christian teaching and amazing fellowship. Meltdown 2012 is pleased to announce that our main guest speaker from the USA is guitar player MIKE REYNOLDS of the FACEDOWN band FOR TODAY.

In-Tune Seminars

Meltdown occasionally stage teaching seminars for people working with Christian music. The event is attended by bands, promoters, road crew, sound engineers and anyone who feels that their ministry is through Christian music.

The In-Tune seminars have provided quality teaching by people who have many years experience of working in music ministry and they are invaluable for exisiting bands and for people considering starting a new Christian band or outreach work.

Meltdown hard music stage at Greenbelt

Meltdown will once again organise the Meltdown hard music stage at this years Greenbelt Festival. We are in the process of booking the bands. Full details will appear here as soon as all bands have been confirmed. Once again we can promise a great line up of hard music bands from the UK maybe even from around the world. If you enjoy hard music and are attending greenbelt, our stage is the place to be.

Metal Meltdown Radio Show on 102.5FM The Bridge Communitiy Radio Station (Stourbridge)

It has come to our attention that a West Midlands based local radio station called "The Bridge - 102.5FM" are broadcasting a radio show on Wednesday evenings called "Metal Meltdown". The show is hosted by Marc Lungley who has been (and still is) heavily connected with Christian hard music and metal music and from time to time has had connections with our Christian organisation. We wish to make it clear that this radio show is in no way connected to the Meltdown ministry. Marc is not broadcasting on our behalf and we have no input into the contents of the show. The broadcasted content therefore do not in any way reflect the opinions of Meltdown.
